Located near the Krka River, this charming 150-year-old house
for two people has been lovingly restored and refurnished with authentic
furniture, including an original kitchen range, baker’s oven and cellar
where guests can pick up a bottle of the local rosé Cvicek wine,
seasonal fruits or salamis. A lovely modern addition is a sauna just off
the bedroom! The owner Matjaz proudly promotes the heritage of the
region and will gladly suggest places to visit, including: Kostanjevica
na Krki, the Krka River Valley, Croatia, the Smarjeske spa resort and
wonderful heritage trails through the Dolenjska and Bela Krajina area,
which you can do by car, walking or bike.
